DOREEN'S BAKERY
CASE STUDY
DOREEN'S BAKERY was created to offer more than handcrafted pastries—it was envisioned as a place where people can slow down and rediscover the quiet pleasure of everyday rituals. Specializing in canelés, dacquoise, and refined baked desserts, the brand celebrates craftsmanship through both its products and the spaces they inhabit.
The identity is built around a punctuation mark that quietly conceals the silhouette of a cat. Hidden in plain sight, the mark invites a second look, becoming a subtle reminder that moments of pause often exist within the rhythm of a busy day.
This philosophy informed every layer of the project. Inspired by the bakery's commitment to natural ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship, the interior combines Roman travertine with a restrained Japandi aesthetic, allowing material, light, and proportion to define the experience rather than decoration.
The brand experience extends beyond the space itself. Every touchpoint was designed to reinforce the same narrative—including a custom die-cut business card inspired by the distinctive silhouette of a canelé. More than a printed piece, it transforms one of the bakery's signature products into a memorable expression of the brand.
From identity and packaging direction to spatial design and printed collateral, every element was conceived as part of one cohesive system—where branding is not simply seen, but experienced.
